Morning everyone I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Yesterday the day of Friday July 23,2010 at 6:30 AM EST time my grandmother Mrs. Kay Francis White passed away at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was in the Hospital Extended Recovery Unit or HER for short. My last time there was on this past Thursday July 22,2010 time of 3-4 AM EST time I noticed that all the previous medical devices with the exception of breathing aids were not present. I also noticed her panting as she could barely breath I knew at that moment as with the many months prior she no longer be with us. I only wish I could've spoke to her one last time but as she lay motionless eyes blank with no soul and body with no energy I knew one of my best friends on earth was leaving me to go home. The tube within her throat served as a issue with speech so she was unable to communicate for months but we spoke by me reading her lips also she could not write so my previous visit we did communicate at some level. As I write this I have no feeling or thought just a blank mind and my soul aches she raised me along with my Grandfather I was born in her home my Mom unable to make it to the hospital so we were very close so close I called her Mother not Grandmother. My family and I would like to thank everyone for the kind words, phone calls, and prayers again we the White's Thank you all!!!
